Sketch effect in Photoshop

sketch effect in Photoshop is like turning a regular photo into a drawing that looks like it was done with a pen.

• open photoshop:

• Open your photo:
• control+ o

• control+u
• saturation:-100

• Make a copy of the photo:
• control+ j

• Turn the copy black and white:
• control+ u

• saturation: -100

• set the blending mode for the layer
• color-dodge

• Reverse the colors in the black and white copy.
• Ctrl + I

• Blur the reversed copy a bit:
• Go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur from the top menu.

• Adjust the contrast to make the lines more noticeable:
• CONTROL+L
• Move the sliders to adjust the black and white points, effectively increasing the contrast. 
• The left (black) slider makes darker areas darker, the middle slider adjusts mid-tones, and the right (white) slider makes lighter areas lighter.

• Save or merge your layers.
